Expecting a Busy Day at Work

I will be the first to admit that I love winter. I don’t love the snow or the weather, but rather that it is off-season for the items that we sell at work. You see, I would at a home improvement store and our busy season is during the warmer months of the year. But now that winter is over and the sales have started on the items that we are carrying this summer, I know that it will be a busy day at work for me.
Based on what happened last year, I am sure that the next few months will be tiring. I can remember the crazy number of wooden storage sheds that I loaded onto customers vehicles over the course of last year and just thinking of that makes me tired. I suppose I shouldn’t complain since the last few months at work have been really slow and I have had time to get some reading done. But those days are gone and I won’t be able to have any kind of freedom like that until the fall.
What I really do love about these busy months is the number of people that I get to interact with. It is great to see people looking to me for advice on things that they can do to their home and yard to make their summer a lot more fun. I love putting all of my experience to use and it is nice to feel wanted.
I will be putting on a training session in a week talking about how to layout a backyard and what products we should be recommending to our clients. I hope that it will be well received and interesting so that I will be allowed to teach more courses like this in the future. Wish me luck!

In North America and the United Kingdom the value of independence and non-conformity are greatly upheld by young people. Punk, gothic, metal, and other alternative cultural values are frequently seen thriving in high schools across the United States, Britain, and Canada. Surprisingly, the anti-prom has become a more and more accepted tradition across industrialized nations. Individuality is greatly respected and official prom organizers and adults understand that these young people are simply expressing their own selfhood. The anti-prom is a great way for young people who may not be able to find dates or who abide by alternative lifestyles to engage in the rite of passage of prom in their own unique fashion. The anti-prom can often times be as formal and ceremonial as the official prom with the young men wearing matching uniforms while the young ladies don cheap prom dresses or even wear tuxedos of their own. In many hipster style anti proms men will intentionally wear audacious tuxes while the women will intentionally wear cheap prom dresses or even simple skirts in acts of perceived irony. These students and young people may or may be part of an ostracized subset of students in a particular school system, but they can also be freshmen and sophomore students creating their own prom in defiance of the traditional prom meant only for junior and senior year high school students.
