Pick People to Market to Who Already Want to Buy

No one likes having to make the cold call and no one likes an uphill battle to try and get their point across or actually close a sale. So why is it then that we constantly see advice which tells us to go after the toughest types of clients or customers for our services and products? While that answer is not so obvious, what is obvious is the fact that a solution to this dilemma is much easier to find than many might have been lead to believe. The real secret here is that we need to find the types of people who actually want to buy and are actively seeking out ways to improve their lives. This way we can pitch our product as a real help on their already personal quest to get a better life. Many of these people are not as hard to find as it seems because if you start thinking in this direction you can see that they are all over the place and usually more than willing to work with those who sell something they are already prone to like and want.

The real basics of the situation are much easier than it might sound like because this is no black magic affair. The real issues are that we need people with a high level of drive, people who actually do something to get what they want. The sweepstakes or lottery leads crowd is a great example of this type of optimism and action combined to a very positive level. They will be prone to listening longer, taking action and following through to get something they want or even wish for more than most ever will.
